Could all Coaches & Managers attend our first General Meeting of the SeasonOn Wednesday March 31st, 2010 at 7.30pm at the Cronulla Sharks Leagues Club.At this time you will be able to collect photo cards and for non playing coaches you will also need to sign a pink card so we can insure you for the season. Managers packs will also be distributed at this time.

This is mainly for the new guys in the team (but also for the old guys who seem to have forgotten).

 

This website is the main way that you communicate with the team. As manager, it is the easiest way for me to gauge who is coming to games, events and to poll people on ideas or things going on. You can use it in exactly the same way – in fact, I strongly encourage anyone to organise a team dinner/lunch or get everyone back to the Royal to watch a game (eg, the grand final this Saturday night, FA Cup etc etc). Please don’t be shy about using this site to get the team involved.

 

This site is also where you will be posting your match report when it is your turn. – I may not have mentioned but everyone in the team will have to post one match report during the year. It can be in any style and any size… it is generally pretty creative.

 

Anyway, it is Very Important that you read what is posted from this site and at the very least respond "yes", "no" or "maybe" to events. If you post "maybe", please give a bit of a description. We have 19 people in the team and it is a nightmare having to call around to everyone to see if they can play a game. If we don’t have enough people, I spend half of Friday trying to find others to fill in for the weekend, so please make my life easier by replying.

 

Having said that, in the same way as last year, if you DO NOT respond to an event on the website such as a game, you will not play in that game if we have enough people. The priorities for a Sunday game are: 1. people who respond to the website (By thursday night), 2. people who come to training, 3. people who show up to the game. Hollywood can’t come to training but he played in every game last year (over some people who came to training) because he replied to every email.

 

Do not expect to play in a game if all you do is turn up on the weekend. As I said, we have 19 players in the team and at the start of the season, we always have extras so people will miss out.

 

PS. Still waiting on some shirt payments…

Training is Every Wednesday at Meadowbank 7 at 7 till 9. (no boots in March)

Official Trial game Meadowbank 7 Sunday 14th March. 3pm K.O. (be there 45mins before)

Uniform pick up night is on Tuesday 16th March from 6.30 – 8.30pm. at Club Hurstville.

Please communicate the info below immediately to your new players and those who did not come to prerego – ALSO NOTE THAT YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE ID PHOTOS OF YOUR NEW PLAYERS AND EMAIL THEM TO ME WITH NAMES BY THURSDAY MORNING, JPEG FORMAT NO BIGGER THAN 200KB PLEASE.

In order to complete registration you will need to sign up with the SUSFC website (www.susfc.org.au) by clicking the “Not a member? Register Now” link. This will then give you access to the 2010 Player Registration option.

In order to register you will need to:

• Complete Registration webform
• Select your registration type
• Pay registration online (credit or debit card)
• Print your Registration confirmation email AND your PayPal receipt and bring these to Registration

All new players and those returning from 2009 who did not pre-register will need to attend Registration at the Royal Hotel on Wednesday March 10 from 6:30pm. NEW PLAYERS MUST HAVE ATTENDED TRIALS AND BEEN SELECTED IN ORDER TO REGISTER

We would much prefer if players paid online however we will accept credit card, EFTPOS or cheques on the night. Players must register online with us in either case.
